I remember pretty much everything about September 27, 2018. Dr. Christine Blasey Ford had recently gone public with credible accusations of sexual misconduct by then-Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, and the 27th was the day she testified. It was powerful testimony, and for a brief moment in time it looked like Kavanaugh wasn’t going to make it to the High Court. Then, slowly, the depravity of the right wing sunk in as they were determined to move forward with Kavanaugh’s nomination.

Soon we’ll get to learn what it was like from the inside. In March 2024, Blasey Ford’s memoir will be published.
