All The Pieces Keep Clicking Together At MyCase

// puzzle-1713170_640MyCase was cruising along acquiring key components to build out its practice management offerings when it found out that sometimes adding capabilities works in reverse — and it got acquired by all-around professional payment processing company AffiniPay.

With all these solutions kicking around under one roof, MyCase just revealed a little bit more about how it’s all coming together.

googletag.cmd.push( function() { // Enable lazy loading. googletag.pubads().enableLazyLoad({ renderMarginPercent: 150, mobileScaling: 2 }); // Display ad. googletag.display( "div-id-for-top-300x250" ); googletag.enableServices(); });

The acquisition of Soluno, a fully cloud-based accounting system for law firms, contributed to the unveiling of MyCase Accounting. Built for lawyers, MyCase Accounting takes advantage of the MyCase platform, centralizing financial data, eliminating redundant data entries, and ensuring regulatory compliance…

With MyCase Accounting, client ledgers for three-way trust reconciliation can be automatically generated, and checks can be issued directly within MyCase, ensuring visibility and control over all law firm financial transactions.

Meanwhile, the Woodpecker acquisition, bringing in a its Word-based, attorney-friendly legal document automation system, is now integrated into MyCase:

googletag.cmd.push( function() { // Enable lazy loading. googletag.pubads().enableLazyLoad({ renderMarginPercent: 150, mobileScaling: 2 }); // Display ad. googletag.display( "div-id-for-middle-300x250" ); googletag.enableServices(); }); googletag.cmd.push( function() { // Enable lazy loading. googletag.pubads().enableLazyLoad({ renderMarginPercent: 150, mobileScaling: 2 }); // Display ad. googletag.display( "div-id-for-storycontent-440x100" ); googletag.enableServices(); }); googletag.cmd.push( function() { // Enable lazy loading. googletag.pubads().enableLazyLoad({ renderMarginPercent: 150, mobileScaling: 2 }); // Display ad. googletag.display( "div-id-for-in-story-youtube-1x1" ); googletag.enableServices(); });

This new integration between MyCase and Woodpecker allows law firms to use case and client information from MyCase to create documents from Woodpecker templates, directly in the MyCase platform. Using conditional logic, the text and language of a document or contract can be easily revised, and multiple documents for one or more clients can be created quickly and efficiently with a few clicks.

Neither of these announcements really surprise given the earlier acquisitions, but it’s a peek into the ongoing efforts at MyCase to cover every base facing those smaller firms that don’t have the luxury of building out bespoke combinations of solutions and need a platform with built-in customization, flexibility, and functionality.
