Ariana Grande’s Dior haute couture gown — a design by Maria Grazia Chiuiri — officially debuted in Paris in January. Abiding by its couture standards, Vogue reported that the dress took about 3,800 hours of hard work to complete. Clearly, Grande and her stylist, Mimi Cuttrell, recognized the beauty of the dress and how it fits right into the “Wicked” aesthetic for this year’s Critics Choice Awards.

The star put on her acting shoes for the night as she arrived at The Barker Hangar in Santa Monica. Showing up as one of the nominees for Best Supporting Actresses at the Critics Choice Awards, her ensemble remained as striking as ever. The gown included a nude-colored mesh bodice that tightly hugged her body. The bodice extended into a billowing, expansive skirt with raffia strands flowing down her thighs to her feet. 

In addition to the skirt, the raffia fabric gave the outfit a dramatic touch as it flowed down the shoulders. Grande paired it with nude sheer stockings and designer sheer gloves. Moreover, she wore minimalistic rings on one finger on each hand. Grande finished her jewelry set with a heavy pair of shimmering studs. 

The actor tied her hair in a neat bun and wore natural makeup, highlighting her perfect cheekbones. Flexing her natural features, the simple yet elegant deep neckline of Grande’s dress helped accentuate her clavicular region, adding spice to her overall appearance.
