New York Knicks point guard Kemba Walker has sold his Brookline, Massachusetts home, the New York Post reports. The sale comes five months after the professional athlete, who formerly played for the Boston Celtics, joined the Knicks, seemingly leaving the New York native with no ties to the Pilgrim State.

Walker purchased the nearly 10,000 square foot home just two years ago for $11.25 million. As the deal was off market, it’s unknown how much the property sold for, but he reportedly fetched more than what he paid for it back in 2019. Even from afar, the double height custom iron entrance makes quite the impression, as does the cobblestone circular driveway in front of the house. Even though it was built in 2019, the property has a stately old-world quality, with accents like beadboard, crown molding, and box windows in many of the rooms. Immediately upon entry into the six bedroom, eight bathroom home, a majestic double bridal staircase is visible and open to both the living and dining rooms. Elsewhere in the dwelling, a paneled library and au pair suite can be found, plus a state of the art kitchen.

The structure sits on 1.46 acres of land, and though little information is available about the property, it seems as though the outdoors features no pool, hot tub, or outdoor kitchen. The lot is plenty private, and the thoughtful landscaping brings the interior’s dignified mood to the exterior.
