On March 2, the rapper not only made history by being the first K-pop star to perform at the Academy Awards but also stunned fans with her unconventional but show-stopping outfit choice for the night. The singer stepped onto the red carpet at the legendary Dolby Theatre in a custom tuxedo-inspired ensemble from Markgong. As it is, the artist took power dressing to another level with this ensemble, setting new red carpet rules in the process.

Blackpink member Lisa stole the spotlight by making a striking appearance at the 2025 Oscars in a custom Markgong tuxedo dress, reported WWD. Her evening fit featured a floor-length, blazer-style coat in black, which showcased satin lapels. The dress also displayed a crisp white collared shirtdress, mimicking a classic button-up underneath the black coat. Moreover, the coat was adorned with a bright red carnation brooch.
