The staff of the ABA Journal prides itself on producing high-quality, engaging content. For most of our 107-year history, we’ve delivered that content to members of the ABA via our award-winning print magazine.

Like all publications, the arrival of the digital age spurred us to create a website and deliver the latest news of the legal profession through different platforms. You can read the Journal on your phone, computer or tablet in addition to the magazines we deliver to members every other month.

Since the creation of ABAJournal.com, our digital content has been available to everyone—whether you were a member of the American Bar Association or not. But the Journal is, at heart, a benefit of ABA membership, largely funded by our dues-paying members.

In the coming weeks, the Journal will begin to provide our premium content on ABAJournal.com exclusively to ABA members. Members can access that content by simply signing in with the same email and password used to access AmericanBar.org.

Nonmembers will have access to a limited number of ABAJournal.com stories each month and have the option to access the entire site by signing up for one of the affordable membership options available from the ABA. Members will not only get access to premium Journal content but also a first-rate CLE library that allows them to fulfill their annual requirements; access to premium content on AmericanBar.org; opportunities for networking; and much more.

We promise to continue our commitment to covering news relevant to lawyers at all stages of their careers—from the day a future lawyer takes the LSAT, through law school and the bar, as they embark on a career to the day they retire.
