Less than a year ago, Shameless star Emmy Rossum and her husband Sam Esmail (best known as the creator of Mr. Robot) welcomed their first child to the world, or to be more specific, to Beverly Hills. This month it’s become clear that the young family would rather settle down in the nearby L.A. neighborhood of Brentwood, where they’ve purchased a grand estate for $15.3 million to replace the 90210 property they listed for $5 million earlier this month, according to Dirt.

Nearly three and a half times the square footage of the Beverly Hills home, the Brentwood space is quite the upgrade at 12,584 square feet. The traditional-style property is grand not just in size, but in attitude, too, with a double height foyer, a dashing lacquered-wall library, and gorgeous crown molding throughout. The seven bedroom, seven and a half bathroom property is ideal for hosting with not one but two wet bars, a home theater with classy brown leather seating, and a billiards area as well. The primary suite offers a two way fireplace that faces the bed on one side and a separated seating area on the other, along with dual walk in closets, and in its bathroom, seating area surrounding a fireplace, dual walk-in closets, a terrace, and a charming marble bathroom.

The backyard features multiple distinct seating areas, one surrounding a fireplace and TV, another around the fire pit, plus a gazebo that houses a grilling station. A large pool shares the space with a sprawling lawn that reads more New England than Southern California and will no doubt provide plenty of space for Rossum, Esmail, and their child.
