On day two of New York Fashion Week, the fashion crowd gathered to see Michael Kors’ Spring 2027 collection. Fresh off his monumental 45th anniversary in February, the iconic American designer led the industry to the Sculpture Garden at the Museum of Modern Art in Midtown Manhattan. From Alex Consani and Paloma Elsesser to Selena Forrest and Julia Nobis, the catwalk featured a lineup of bold simplicity, contrasted with the museum’s modernist architecture. Pieces were inspired by travels from Sicily, South Africa, and mid-century modernism. Impeccably constructed looks grounded in neutrals and punctuated by stripes and pops of color were on fine display, as the designer continued to double down on his signature sense of sophistication and ease.
