Tiffany & Co.’s New Holiday Pop-Up Is Full of Cheer

On November 8, Tiffany & Co. opened its doors to a new holiday pop-up boutique in New York City’s West Village. Envisioned by jewelry maestro Jean Schlumberger, the shop features mistletoe-lined doors, star-adorned signature blue awnings, and gold trimmings. S. Wieder Architect Proposes a Winning Design

Earlier this year, AD’s digital director David Kaufman served on a design-idea jury for the Jewish National Fund-USA World Zionist Village. The winning design by New York City–based S. Wieder Architect drew its formal inspiration from an ancient stone olive press, adapting its lipped, round form into a wedgelike massing. At its center, the architects envisioned a tree-ringed reflecting pool and green plaza. Alongside the S. Wieder entry, Susana Merenfeld Weisleder and Adina Kaufman presented a triangular proposal, which won the People’s Choice Award. Congratulations to the winning designers.
