After twenty-eight years of ownership and three years on the market, Joe Pesci has officially sold his unique Art Deco-inspired mansion. According to the Los Angeles Times, Pesci’s 7,200-square-foot home went for $5 million, a rather steep drop from the $6.5 million he originally listed the property for, but a major profit from the $850,000 the Academy Award-winning actor spent on the place in 1994.

The eight bedroom, eight and a half bathroom home is a perfect fit for anyone who fancies the opulence of the eighties. The home was built in 1990, and it doesn’t appear Pesci made any major stylistic changes since he moved in. Located on a small island in the Jersey Shore town of Lavalette, it features a statement-making curved tower in the center, which faces the water. Additional curved windows cover the back side of the house, where a dock leads into the water, while a more plain, anonymous frontside is visible from the street. Upon entry to the house, a winding staircase with distinctive metal balusters greets visitors and sets the tone for the rest of the space.

In the massive open kitchen and dining area, simple white cabinetry, black countertops, and white tile floors allow the furnishings to do the talking, with an extra-large gold mirrored light fixture above the dining table dominating the space. The dining room offers direct access to the outdoor space where an abundance of patio space surrounds a large heated pool and spa, plus a deepwater bulkhead that allows for easy boating straight off the property.
