Karamo Brown Buys Sleek Hollywood Hills Home for $5.4 Million

According to Dirt, Brown dropped $5.4 million on a Hollywood Hills home earlier this month.
Though the 3,500 square foot space was technically built in 1956, it was recently completely redesigned to modern standards with an open concept living area and a clean-lined facade. It is quite boxy and sleek and would provide a great canvas for modern art. Contemporary home technology is installed throughout the property, too, with Lutron lighting, Sonos speakers, and a Google Nest to help orchestrate it all. While the interior of the home has plenty to offer, the backyard is clearly the property’s crown jewel, thanks to its unmistakable views of the Hollywood sign and the Griffith Observatory. Privacy hedges surround much of the outdoor area, but unobstructed views are available on a platform along the edge of the property.

The all white and gray environment is something of a blank slate, and there’s no doubt that Brown will enjoy decorating the wide open space. “Moving into a new environment on your own for the first time is exciting but can also be filled with a lot of emotions. It’s important to outfit your space with items that comfort and inspire you,” Brown told AD in an interview back in 2019. “For example, in my home, I have picture frames everywhere filled with photos of loved ones. They can be propped up on your desk, the bedside table, or hung on the wall to keep you motivated and remind you where you came from.”
