The British edition of ELLE has been fortunate enough to escape sharing content with worldwide editions of the magazine for quite some time – until now. Last year, Kenya Hunt granted us original cover shoots starring the likes of Naomi Campbell and Margaret Qualley to Alicia Vikander and Riley Keough. Last month’s edition for February 2025 gave us Cynthia Erivo as cover star. This month, however, Hunt is sharing the Lady Gaga cover story with American ELLE for March 2025. In a different cover photograph to British ELLE‘s American counterpart, Gaga gazes down the lens of photographer Gray Sorrenti in a white Ilona dress and a pair of white laced gloves from Acne Studios.

“OMG Gaga by Sorrenti is trash,” chimed in a disinterested 90sFan.

“Now makes sense why the Cynthia Erivo cover was released so early. I love Lady Gaga as a fashion icon, but I blame the people at ELLE for making this a disaster. Not even cover material shot,” complained ivano.

“Most of the images in this shared ELLE story don’t really lend themselves to working that well as a cover shot,” noted forum member tigerrouge.
