The Fenty Beauty founder was spotted out and about in her native Barbados with her children, RZA and Rocki, opting for an all-black ensemble that delivered plenty of drama without looking overdone. With its fluid silhouette and skin-baring construction, the look proved that sometimes less really is more.

For the outing, Rihanna slipped into Gucci’s Asymmetric Jersey Gown — a $4,900 design that put a daring spin on the classic black maxi dress. The slinky number featured an asymmetric, one-shoulder neckline, leaving one shoulder and arm completely exposed while fabric draped loosely from the opposite side.

However, the dress made its biggest statement below the waist. A dramatically high-cut asymmetric opening climbed all the way up Rihanna’s thigh. Moreover, it revealed nearly the entire length of one leg as she walked. The fabric fell to the ground on the opposite side, creating a striking contrast between the gown’s floor-sweeping length and its cut.

Rihanna also layered a black LIDO Venti Embellished Triangle Bikini underneath the dress. Priced at $365, the bikini featured slim string straps decorated with small red embellishments, with one strap peeking out around the gown’s neckline and adding a subtle pop of color.

She kept the rest of her accessories equally sleek. The “Diamonds” singer shielded her eyes behind $475 Port Tanger Junayd sunglasses and added gold necklaces and a wide gold choker. She wore her dark curls loose and voluminous and finished the look with red lipstick and simple black flip-flops.

The relaxed footwear made sense for the daytime family outing, while the designer gown ensured Rihanna’s look was anything but ordinary. Carrying Rocki on one hip and holding RZA’s hand with the other, she effortlessly transformed a Gucci gown into laid-back Barbados street style.
