Sandra Bullock Sells Condo in Star-Studded Hollywood Building for $4.4 Million

McCormack/Getty Images for BFIJust two months after listing her unit in the star-studded Sierra Towers, Sandra Bullock has sold the property for $4.4 million, according to the Los Angeles Times. Though it’s nearly $100,000 less than the she listed it for in late 2021, the final price still leaves her with a $850,000 profit from what she paid for the two bedroom three bathroom space in 2014.
With Adam Sandler, Courteney Cox, and Kelly Osbourne among the slew of celebs who own their own space in the Sierra Towers, it’s clear the building’s living spaces are covetable top to bottom, but the space Bullock sold was particularly sought after. Its location above the 20th floor means spectacular views across Hollywood and its east facing position in the building means mornings in the floor to ceiling windowed space are flooded with sunlight. These are particularly enjoyable from the numerous spacious balconies accessible from the living space and the bedrooms. Bullock recently spearheaded a thoughtful renovation of the space, giving it a bit of a midcentury twist with wood paneling in the living area and a built-in wood dresser in the primary suite. The custom cabinetry in the kitchen and primary bathroom make a stylish statement without distracting from the beauty of the wraparound view.

Bullock owned another unit in the building, but sold it at the top of the new year in an off market deal. Though the unit was about 350 square feet larger, it went for the significantly lower price of $3.6 million, a loss of $1.5 million from what she paid when purchasing the property in 2017.
