Supermodel and former Victoria’s Secret Angel Adriana Lima has sold her Florida mansion for $40 million in an off market deal, Mansion Global reports. At that price tag, the sale marks a major profit for the model who purchased the home, with her now ex-husband Marko Jarić, for $9 million back in 2009.

Located on Indian Creek, a 300 acre island nestled in Miami’s Biscayne Bay, the property spans two acres. The island is often referred to as “Billionaire Bunker,” a name it earned for its long list of wealthy residents that includes Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, and formerly, Beyoncé and Jay Z, too. Since the Brazilian-born star’s property was sold in an off-market deal, there’s little known about the home itself, though Lima reportedly finished remodeling the interior of the 1958 structure in 2020. Residence on the private island includes access to its private country club and 18-hole golf course and the lot itself has nearly 200 feet of water frontage.

Lima’s sale comes at an opportune time, as celebrities have been flooding to Florida over the past two years, and according to Mansion Global, she picked the right time to buy back in 2009, reportedly picking it up for 30 percent off of its asking price. The model, who has two children, 12-year-old Valentina and 9-year-old Sienna, hasn’t always been so lucky in real estate. Back in 2018, she and Jarić sold their New York City condo for $3.3 million, which is nearly half of the asking price they’d listed it for five years before they finally offloaded it.
