Sydney Sweeneymade a daring style statement in Venice, stepping out in a see-through plunging dress that left little to the imagination. Underneath the sheer fabric, fans spotted a familiar detail. A G-string from her own label, SYRN, was visible through the mesh as she posed for photographers.

Sweeney made an appearance in Italy for an Armani Beauty event tied to the Venice Film Festival circuit. She arrived hand-in-hand with Scooter Braun, wearing an archival Giorgio Armani gown pulled from the house’s Fall 2000 collection.

The floor-length grey dress featured a spaghetti-strap camisole neckline and was made entirely of sheer mesh, covered in micro crystals and beadwork. One shoulder strap featured a black fabric rosette detailing. The fully see-through design meant the underlying silhouette, including her undergarments, was visible beneath the crystal-covered mesh.

The cheeky underwear that peeked out is SYRN’s Daydream Low Rise G-String, priced at $22. Sydney Sweeney wore the G-string in the color “After Dark.” Other colors available include Pillow Fight and Bedhead. SYRN’s product website describes the low-rise style as finished with a bow and scalloped trim. Notably, Sweeney launched her brand earlier this year in January, and pieces from the line have appeared in several of her public appearances.

For the overall outfit, Sweeney completed the look with black platform heels and loose, beachy waves. The bold pairing of the vintage Armani piece with the SYRN undergarment for one of her more revealing appearances on the Venice circuit this year has garnered attention online.
