At 10 a.m. EDT, the court expects to issue opinions in one or more argued cases from the term. Following the opinion announcements, the justices will hear oral arguments in Diaz v. U.S. and Truck Insurance Exchange v. Kaiser Gypsum Company.

Each weekday, we select a short list of news articles, commentary, and other noteworthy links related to the Supreme Court. Here’s the Tuesday morning read:

  • Supreme Court seems favorable to Biden administration over efforts to combat social media posts (Mark Sherman, The Associated Press)
  • Supreme Court blocks Texas from enforcing controversial immigration law for now (Devan Cole & John Fritze, CNN)
