// What better way to end the week than with a big raise? That’s what management at many a firm thought today, because Biglaw is swimming in cold, hard cash.

The latest firm to increase associate salaries is Orrick, which is currently ranked at No. 35 on the Am Law 100, with $1,152,850,000 gross revenue in 2020. The firm is matching the now prevailing Cravath salary scale, which tops out at $415,000 for senior associates.

This new salary scale is effective as of January 1, 2022, and associates will see the cash in their March 31 paychecks. Congratulations to everyone at the firm!
