Top Law School Student To Compete On Survivor’s 46th Season

// money beachYou may think that going to law school is like being a castaway on “Survivor,” where you have to outwit, outlast, and outplay your classmates to make it to the top of the curve and get a job — until you’re actually a castaway on “Survivor.”

Meet Charlie Davis, a third-year student at Boston College Law School. The longtime Survivor fan has been applying to be a cast member on the show since 2020, and he tells BC Law Magazine that when he finally got selected, he was “so shocked and elated.” Davis spent last summer filming Season 46 of the show — what he called “the adventure of a lifetime” — in Fiji. “My passion for Survivor really took off at BC Law,” Davis said. “I have made so many friends through a shared love of the show. We have all gotten together for weekly watch parties on Wednesdays since my first year, and it is so surreal that this spring we’ll be watching me on screen!”

Davis is a former cross country team captain, and he thinks he may be able to use his running skills to his advantage on Survivor. “I’m hoping I can use that experience putting myself in pain and discomfort because that’s ultimately the name of the game—you just keep lasting,” he said.

Davis is set to graduate law school in May — but will he graduate with $1 million in hand as a reality game show winner?

The 46th season of Survivor premieres on February 28.

Best of luck to Charlie Davis as he tries to become the Sole Survivor!
