Oregon’s chief administrative law judge is on unpaid leave as he faces child pornography allegations.

Chief Administrative Law Judge John Michael Mann, 56, was arrested and booked into the Washington County Jail in Oregon last month and jailed on 10 counts of first-degree encouraging child sexual abuse, the Associated Press reports, citing information from the Oregonian.

Mann’s bail was set at $20,000; he was released after paying 10% of that amount.

Mann was appointed by Oregon’s governor in 2017. He oversaw about 60 judges who handle cases mostly involving unemployment claims and child support.
