Trump Or Schopenhauer: Who Said That?

“Talent hits a target no one else can hit. Genius hits a target no one else can see.”

That was the philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer.

Can you identify the speaker for each of quotations below?

1.  “The concept of global warming was created by and for the Chinese in order to make U.S. manufacturing non-competitive.”

2.  “Grab ’em by the pussy. You can do anything.”

3.  “Sorry losers and haters, but my IQ is one of the highest — and you all know it! Please don’t feel so stupid or insecure, it’s not your fault.”

4. “You know, it really doesn’t matter what the media write as long as you’ve got a young and beautiful piece of ass.”

5. “I have evidence that Barack Obama was born in Kenya. I have a birth certificate.”

6.  “I will build a great, great wall on our southern border, and I will have Mexico pay for that wall. Mark my words.”

7.  “They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.”

8.  “[John McCain is] … not a war hero. He’s a war hero — he’s a war hero ’cause he was captured. I like people that weren’t captured, OK, I hate to tell you.”

9. “[I’m calling for] a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on.”

10.  “I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose voters.”

11. “I think the only difference between me and the other candidates is that I’m more honest and my women are more beautiful.”

12. “You know, if you’re young, and in this era, and if you have any guilt about not having gone to Vietnam, we have our own Vietnam — it’s called the dating game…. Dating is like being in Vietnam. You’re the equivalent of a soldier going over to Vietnam.”

13. “This American carnage stops right here and stops right now.”

14. “I know more about ISIS than the generals do. Believe me.”

15. “I think Vladimir Putin is a very strong leader who takes care of his country.”

16. “The answer is there has to be some form of punishment.”

     “For the woman?”

“Yeah, there has to be some form.”

17. “Why are we having all these people from shithole countries coming here?”

18. “Why would Kim Jong Un insult me by calling me ‘old,’ when I would NEVER call him ‘short and fat’? Oh well, I try so hard to be his friend — and maybe someday that will happen!”

19.  “And then we fell in love, OK? No, really, he wrote me beautiful letters, and they’re great letters. We fell in love.”

20. “I did more for the black community than anybody with the possible exception of Abraham Lincoln.”

21. “We condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence on many sides. On many sides.”

22.  “Nobody’s ever been treated badly like me. … Although they do say Abraham Lincoln was treated really badly.”

23.  “President Putin says it’s not Russia. I don’t see any reason why it would be.”

24. “We have it totally under control. It’s one person coming in from China. It’s going to be just fine.”

25.  “Is there a way we can do something like that by injection inside or almost a cleaning? It sounds interesting to me, so we’ll see. But the whole concept of the light, the way it kills it in one minute. That’s pretty powerful.”

26.  “Proud Boys, stand back and stand by.”

27.  “STOP THE COUNT.”

28. “Go home. We love you, you’re very special.”

29.  “[I]f I run and if I win, we will treat those people from January 6 fairly. We will treat them fairly. And if it requires pardons we will give them pardons. Because they are being treated so unfairly.”

30. “No, I would not protect you. In fact, I would encourage [Russia] to do whatever the hell they want. You got to pay. You got to pay your bills.”

31. “Only I can make America great again.”

The outrages come so quickly.

Don’t forget the chaos.
