— An anonymous Trump ally / donor closely working with the Trump 2024 fundraising told Politico that the legal troubles of Donald Trump have been lucrative for the campaign. Politico reports that when New York Attorney General Letitia James considered seizing Trump assets to pay for the civil judgment levied against the former president it resulted in a banner fundraising effort with Save America joint fundraising committee raising $2.6 million from ~48,000 donors in a single day.
