After just five weeks on the market, Tyra Banks has officially sold her home in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of L.A. for its full asking price of $7.895 million. The businesswoman and model purchased the home for $6.95 million in 2018, leaving her with a near million dollar profit before renovation costs and broker fees.

At the time of the former America’s Next Top Model host’s purchase, the five bedroom six bathroom home already boasted many of its show stopping features—a rooftop complete with a hot tub, fire pit, outdoor kitchen, and 360 degree views, a media lounge with an in ceiling speaker system and accompanying wet bar, a sprawling primary suite—but Banks gave it a top to bottom makeover to elevate these luxurious features. As she herself put it, “This house has been ‘smized’ with a WOW factor!"

Nearly every room in the house was slightly tweaked, whether it be light fixtures swapped out for maximum impact or tiling added on the kitchen walls to create texture. Throughout the over 6,000 square foot home, walls were painted a clean white to maximize the gorgeous sunlight that shines in, and in a few select rooms, hand painted murals were created to add a unique flair. In the backyard, the pool is all the more relaxing thanks to the added waterfall backdrop and a covered dining area was placed directly adjacent to the pool.

The listing was held by Heidi Lake of Sotheby’s International Realty at the Beverly Hills Brokerage and James Respondek of Rodeo Realty.
