Vote Fraud Hype Group ‘True The Vote’ Admits In Court Filings It Has ZERO Proof

At this moment, the odds of prosecuting Donald Trump in Georgia for election crimes are declining precipitously thanks to Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’s disastrously poor judgment.

But while we await the decision from Judge Scott McAfee on whether to disqualify her whole office — or worse — let’s take a field trip down the hall, to the courtroom of Judge Rachelle Carnesale where the former president’s allies are being forced to admit that they have zero evidence to back up their claims of election fraud.

In that case, the State Election Board is suing a “non-profit” called “True the Vote.” In 2021, TTV bought up a bunch of cell tower data and supposedly analyzed it to find that certain phones were near a bunch of ballot drop boxes on multiple occasions. This hardly seems remarkable, particularly since the boxes were in public places like libraries and post offices. But TTV spun it into a tale of “mules” ferrying fake ballots from “stash houses” and claimed to have confidential sources who could prove that the number of fraudulent ballots in seven swing states exceeded President Biden’s margin of victory. TTV’s wild tales formed the basis of the movie “2000 Mules,” produced by professional shit-stirrer Dinesh D’Souza.

The movie was immediately and hilariously debunked, and D’Souza’s book on the subject was pulped and reissued with some of the more defamation-y stuff excised. Nevertheless, it was screened at Mar-a-Lago, where Trump hyped it as proof of his victory, and was even cited by Rudy Giuliani in his disbarment hearing in support of his claims that election fraud is real.

In the meantime, TTV found itself in a sticky situation in Georgia, where it filed a complaint with the state Board of Elections in November of 2021 based on the claims of ballot “trafficking” from the Mule movie. But as it turned out, the BOE actually does investigate that stuff, and so it asked TTV nicely to back up its allegations with some proof. And when that didn’t work, in April of 2022, the BOE issued a subpoena duces tecum for the docs TTV had claimed to have in its possession.

At that point, TTV sought to withdraw its complaint, demurring that it simply had to protect its confidential sources from the Deep State, or Antifa, or maybe even KILLARY herself. But the BOE said no dice and sued in July of 2023 to enforce its subpoenas. Judge Carnesale agreed in November, and so today, after some more wrangling, TTV was finally forced to admit that they’ve got bupkis.

About that supposed “network of non-governmental organizations that worked together to facilitate a ballot trafficking scheme in Georgia” described to them by one “John Doe”?

TTV does not retain such records in its possession, custody, or control.

How about that “bartender who came in from South Carolina” to help with the alleged ballot harvesting scheme in Georgia?

TTV does not have in its possession, custody, or control, such identity and contact information or any such items concerning her.

Does TTV have any of the recordings or transcripts of the calls which flooded in to its Georgia Election Integrity Hotline?

TTV’s records show it had contacts from approximately 117 Georgia citizens through its hotline in Georgia, but details regarding those contacts are no longer available due to the 2022 termination of the reporting service used during the Oct. 2020/Jan. 2021 time period.

And about those supposed “confidentiality agreements” TTV pointed to as the reason it couldn’t comply with the subpoena?

TTV has no such documents in its possession, custody, or control.

Shocking! I mean, not as shocking as the unmitigated shitshow down the hall in Judge McAfee’s courtroom. But, still …
