We are firm fans of Mark Guiducci’s Vanity Fair. Having succeeded Radhika Jones in 2025, names like Jennifer Aniston, Elle & Dakota Fanning, Charli XCX, Teyana Taylor, Margaret Qualley, Kylie Jenner, Mbappé, and Lisa have become cover stars. Covers have captivated and caught our attention to no end. Next up on the cover of Vanity Fair is Marc Jacobs, who fronts the 2026 Style issue of the magazine. The CFDA Award-winning American designer (whose fashion label is set to be sold by LVMH to WHP Global and G-III Apparel Group in a deal valued at up to $850 million) is painted by the Canadian artist Anna Weyant for the occasion.

“I love art and portraits, but not this for a cover of a style issue,” shared MModa upon checking out the cover.

“I’ve really been enjoying the new Vanity Fair a lot, but this is probably the weakest cover under Mark Guiducci so far. I don’t mind it, though – it’s definitely not the best, but I don’t think it’s awful,” LastNight voiced.

“Sometimes it’s best to just use a nice photo for the front of the issue. Twist yourself into knots trying to do something different, and you end up making Marc Jacobs look a bit like a very serious Ringo Starr,” shrieked tigerrouge.

Also far from impressed was vogue28. “Wow, that’s bad. Borderline horrific. The absolute worst cover Mark Guiducci has produced for Vanity Fair, without question. I didn’t even recognise the man on the cover as Marc Jacobs. Not until I scoured the cover for confirmation,” they stated.
