The actress stepped out in Austin for a special “Practical Magic 2” event, where she joined fans to celebrate the highly anticipated sequel. Dressed entirely in black, Bullock kept things sleek and understated at first glance, but her gown featured one seriously daring detail.

Bullock wore the Elaria Cami Silk Gown by Ulla Johnson. A black floor-length design priced at $1,200 on the brand’s website. Crafted from washed silk-satin and chiffon, the gown hugged her figure before giving way to a floaty, semi-sheer hem.

The neckline, however, commanded all the attention. Bullock’s plunging gown dipped dramatically down her chest, with a series of ultra-thin black strings crisscrossing across the otherwise open section. The delicate lace-up construction looked like it was holding the entire piece in place.

Ruffled detailing traced the plunging neckline, adding texture to the slinky black satin. Skinny spaghetti straps made the top appear even more delicate, while the streamlined body of the gown created a stark contrast to its revealing lace-up front.

The bottom offered another subtle twist. Around the lower portion, the opaque silk-satin transitioned into flowing black chiffon, creating a translucent finish around Bullock’s legs as she moved.

She kept her accessories minimal, adding several gold rings while allowing the dramatic neckline to remain the focal point. Bullock wore her long brunette hair down and straight, with small braids woven through the front sections for a pulled back finish.

The actress wore the look while promoting “Practical Magic 2” at a screening event in Austin. The movie’s official Instagram account thanked host Madeline Hollern for the night, writing, “There’s a special kind of magic in the Austin air!”.

Bullock also had some fun promoting the sequel herself. In another video, her mom jokingly asked for tickets to “Practical Magic 2” while Sandra was in the car, giving fans another close-up of the gown’s risky plunging lace-up neckline.
